Pediatric Cardiologist
Department of Pediatrics
The Department of Pediatrics at McMaster University and McMaster Children’s Hospital are seeking a
full-time pediatric cardiologist to join a committed team. The successful candidate will share responsibility
for comprehensive clinical services, education and research in pediatric cardiology. The position will
incorporate an academic appointment appropriate to the qualifications and expertise of the applicant. We
offer a collegial atmosphere, a unique academic environment, many research opportunities and the
opportunity to work in a growing academic department with enthusiastic colleagues.
The successful candidate will have a strong interest in medical education, with the interest and potential to
assume an educational leadership role within the Department in the future. Preference will be given to
applicants who can provide evidence of a current involvement and commitment to education through the
submission of an educational dossier and the identification of referees who can attest to the applicant’s
educational expertise.
