Course Description
:
The course begins with a review of the basic concepts of chemistry and biology as means to understanding
the fundamental principles of environmental science. Practical applications of these concepts will be discussed, as it
relates to present environmental issues both globally and locally.
Course Objectives:
1. To give the student a clear understanding of the fundamental principles in environmental science;
2. To enable the student to see these principles as they apply to current environmental issues both
globally and in the Philippines.
