Recommended Use: When lifting, there is a critical 4-hour anabolic “window of opportunity” that exists. To take advantage of this window, take 1 pack within 30 minutes
after resistance training. For even better results, take 2 packs – the first immediately
before lifting, and the second within 30 minutes after. If you use a post-training protein
shake, wait at least another 30-45 minutes after you’ve taken the Animal Nitro G pack
before drinking your shake. Always take Animal Nitro G on an empty stomach.

“I was taking this product dur-
ing my contest training routine
and found that I did not lose as
much strength, energy, etc. as
you might expect during such
training. It helped me maintain
my strength at almost 90%... I
am able to hang in at five days a
week training. And I am talking
contest training. I have lost in the past 8 weeks 13
pounds. So I am not fooling around here. Your
product has definitely helped keep me in there.

Essential amino acids (EAAs). You need ‘em cuz your body can’t make
them on its own—you can only get them from diet and supplementation.
You want them cuz you know how important EAAs are after lifting—only
EAAs are needed to spark protein synthesis in order to achieve anabolic
effects. Non-essential amino acids aren’t necessary. Non-essential aminos
can get wasted. What you want are the right forms of essential aminos in
the right ratios and amounts. With Animal Nitro G, you don’t have to figure
it out. We did. Animal Nitro G has the same exact Human Muscle Protein
Complex™ as found in the original Animal Nitro… With a twist.
With Animal Nitro G, you get the same “uncoupled” essential amino acid
formula as found in the original Animal Nitro (based on the composition of
human muscle itself), but you also get the addition of 35g of dextrose. Think
of the added dextrose as a kind of supercharger. This important carb takes
those key essential aminos your muscles need and ignites ‘em. And unlike
Animal Nitro, which are packets of fast-acting capsules, Animal Nitro G is a
powdered drink mix—delicious grape-flavored to be precise—that contains
a proven dose of 6g of key aminos along with 35g of dextrose.
So why did we add the dextrose? Simple. Simple carbs taken post-training
can influence the effects of EAAs on protein synthesis in a positive way. In
one recent study, researchers looked at the anabolic impact of 6g of essential aminos mixed with 35g of simple carbs on weightlifters. They found that
the EAA/carb drink promoted muscle anabolism. In fact, protein synthesis
increased by ~400% above pre-drink values when it was taken within a short
period of time after lifting. Researchers theorize that this result might reflect
a “interactive effect” between amino acid availability, insulin, and lifting.
In a more recent study, the mixture of essential aminos and simple carbs
has been shown to provide another important benefit. Researchers at the
University of Texas gave an essential aminos/carb drink healthy men who
were confined to beds for 28 days. Using state-of-the-art methods to measure strength and muscle volume, the researchers came to some pretty
amazing conclusions. What they found was that the placebo group lost
about a pound of leg muscle on average and a good amount of leg
strength. The essential amino/carb group kept all their leg muscle and lost
only about half the strength.
According to lead researcher Dr. Douglas Paddon-Jones, "We thought it was
the most astounding thing that even though our subjects did no exercise,
they were able to maintain muscle mass." Now this is important. Let’s say
you’re stuck in bed, recuperating. Or maybe you’re out traveling and can’t
get to a gym. Whatever the case, the study suggests that if you supplement
with essential aminos and carbs like those found in Animal Nitro G, it might
be possible to actually prevent muscle loss and keep more of your strength.
So whether you’re out of action for a week or even four weeks, you’d
probably want to keep a pack of Animal Nitro G with you at all times.
packs are based on the proven 6/35 ratio of aminos to carbs. So if you’re
going to take your regular PWO shake, first take Animal Nitro G, wait another 30-45 minutes, then take your shake.
Listen, only Animal Nitro and Animal Nitro G has the unique blend of essential amino acids. Nothing else does. With Animal Nitro G, now you have a
choice. If you’re cutting back on carbs, and want a straight essential amino
acid product, you have Animal Nitro. Animal Nitro gives you a lot of flexibility. But if you mostly take your essential aminos after you train and want the
simple carbs, now you have Animal Nitro G. It’s great tasting and fast-acting. Whichever one you choose, you’ll get the same great amino acid blend
that serious lifters everywhere have been talking about.

One important note--it’s not just a simple matter of taking a protein powder
like whey and mixing it with a simple carb. While this conventional PWO
shake still has value during the critical nutritional “window of opportunity”,
the studies that are being done have specifically looked at essential
aminos—specific ratios and forms of essential aminos. Our Animal Nitro G
Like Animal Pak, we think Animal Nitro G is a “foundational” supplement. It
should be a staple in your nutritional arsenal. Animal Nitro G can provide
you with the basic building blocks you needs to grow. You can stack it with
Animal Pak or other Animal supplements depending on your goals.
