05/21/2014 - The assignment asks for
suggestions of specific foods to be
added or deleted from the daily intake,
to bring it in range of MyPlate
recommendations. To help students
achieve this analysis and
recommendation, the instructor could
show examples (and non-examples)
(with student names removed) of
recommendations for additions or
deletions to the intake.
05/21/2014 - Students in Nutrition 15 choose from a
menu of projects. During the Spring, 2014 semester,
only 2 students out of 25 chose the Case Study, which
provides evidence for SLO#2. One student scored an

05/21/2014 - This entire project must be
presented more clearly and more
instruction is needed regarding
MyPlate. Currently, the instructor
presents the project and directs the
students to MyPlate.gov for
independent study. More direct
instruction about food groups, including
a graphic organizer and student
activities is needed.
