Ibubapa yang dihormati,
Tahniah diucapkan kepada ibubapa sekalian kerana kejayaan mendidik anak
sehingga dipilih untuk melanjutkan pembelajarannya di Pusat Asasi, IIUM bagi
sesi 2012/2013.
Suasana masyarakat dan arah negara memerlukan generasi yang DINAMIS,
CERGAS, CERDAS dan JUJUR bagi mewarisi kepimpinan masa hadapan yang
berperanan untuk membela nasib bangsa, agama dan negara.
Saya bagi pihak Universiti ini memohon jasa baik tuan/puan untuk membantu
kami memupuk semangat kesedaran yang diperlukan. Pelajar harus sedar
bahawa mereka perlu berdepan dan mengatasi cabaran dan jangan biarkan
ianya menjadi rintangan dan halangan yang akhirnya menggagalkan segala

Congratulations to all for being selected to join the Centre for Foundation Studies of the
International Islamic University Malaysia.

All the information provided is to prepare you for registration day.

Please read carefully and follow the instructions given.
ACCEPTANCE OF OFFER

Kindly key-in Student Detail Online form before you print the offer letter.

Print the offer letter. Keep it as evidence of acceptance. This offer letter is not valid
for any legal matters EXCEPT for opening bank account and medical checkup only.

For deferment case, please submit an official letter before or by registration day to

MEDICAL CHECKUP
Do your X-ray at any private clinic / hospital earlier. Your medical check-up will be
done at IIUM Medical Centre on campus after registration. Bring your X-ray film along.

ENGLISH PLACEMENT TEST (EPT), ARABIC PLACEMENT TEST (APT) , TILAWAH
ENTRANCE TEST (TENT)

All new students are required to sit for English Placement Test (EPT) and Arabic
Placement Test (APT) during the Ta’aruf Week, in order to determine the level of
English and Arabic proficiency. The results of the tests will be used to place students
according to their level of proficiency. It is advised that students prepare well for the
tests as the results will determine the length of studies in CFS.
All new students are required to sit for Tilawah Entrance Test (TEnT) during the
Ta’aruf Week, to determine the level of proficiency of students in Quranic Recitation.
The results of the tests will be used to determine their credited co-curricular subject.
Exemption from English Placement Test (EPT)
Students, who have sat for International English Language Test System( IELTS) or
Test of English for Foreign Language(TOEFL) before registering, must produce
evidence of IELTS or TOEFL qualifications during registration. The following minimum
requirements must be met in order to be exempted from EPT:

Recurrent fees will be deducted from student’s scholarship at each semester.

Self-sponsored student is required to settle amounts due latest by 2 weeks before each final
semester examination.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE
1. Students must settle the entrance fee BEFORE registration.
2. All payments must be banked into our Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad (BMMB)
account no. 1205-00030217-13 by using the Centre for Foundation Studies IIUM,
Petaling Jaya bank in slip ONLY at any branches of Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad
(BMMB). Students are required to make payment at the bank counter (please do
not use cash deposit machine (CDM) or any other method of transfer). No
personal cheque or cash will be accepted on the registration day.
3. Students will receive two (2) copies of receipt after payment is settled.

4. THE ENTRANCE FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
5. Students MUST open One Reach Saving Account (18 years and above) or AlWadiah Saving Account (below 18 years) at any branch of Bank Muamalat Malaysia
Berhad (BMMB) BEFORE registration day. The following documents are required to be
submitted to the bank for opening the account:
