Music Project Manager

We’ve got an incredible career opportunity for a hands-on project manager. Based out of Nova Entertainment
Sydney you’ll work across both the Nova and smoothfm brands nationally. If you’re passionate about music with
a lean on driving great events, you don’t mind working beyond standard hours, but most importantly are eager to
work in an arm of the company that is particularly dynamic and fast paced, we want to hear from you!
As the Music Project Manager you will be responsible for the implementation and management of music
activations that are associated with NOVA Entertainment including our sensational live music assets Nova’s Red
Room and smooth A Night With. Working collaboratively with the Music Marketing Director (MMD) you will:
 work across all NOVA Entertainment music assets
 manage the planning and execution of music activations including communication plans, organising event
schedules, booking travel, promotional activity, post campaign evaluations etc.
 have creative input into client briefs that have an artist or music focus
 work with the MMD to secure music driven opportunities for the Network
 alongside the MMD will foster great and genuine relationships with all external stakeholders to the
business
 create a partnership environment with co-workers, record labels, promoters, vendors and clients
 maintain communication with all relevant parties to ensure transparency, alignment and focus on delivery
 prepare post campaign reports for clients, record labels and promoters
 positively represent the NOVA Entertainment Music Marketing division and assets internally and externally

have demonstrated experience as a lead in event and/or project implementation
be able to multitask and prioritise to deliver to tight deadlines
have outstanding communication skills
have exceptional attention to detail
have a passion for music and have some knowledge of the radio / music / entertainment industry
draw on your great ability to foster relationships to manage talent
be able to work collaboratively
have proven ability to develop and maintain relationships across all levels externally and internally
be flexible and adaptable to work outside traditional hours
