Overall – this website will be built out and improved as the quarter goes. As I learn new tricks it will get more
sophisticated. I used two CSS files for continuity, one to format the overall layout, the second for content format. I
tested the website on Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer and everything appears to work as expected. A validation
check (http://validator.w3.org/) on all the pages helped clean up code, should run on the validator with no errors at this
point. Layout links across the top of the page lead to a home, bio, assignment and contact pages. Header image ties in
my shorebird connection. Colors selected to match the header image.
Homepage – explains the purpose of the website as part of the Geog 677 course. Contains a short bio with a photo of
me and description of the course and the MPS program along with the UMD logo.
