Dale of Norway, a world leader in knitwear technology and designs, expands its collection with the
Comfort Series. Using a unique knitwear process of combining two separate fabrics, the Midlayer and
Midlayer Supreme line combines natural and technical fibers to create garments with a focus on function
and comfort. Made with fine Merino Wool on the inside and outside, the Midlayer line offers two styles, a
hoodie and a full zip jacket. For colder days, Dale, a world leading producer of water repellent wool,
combines a water, soil and stain resistant woolen yarn on the outside of the knit with a soft fine Merino
yarn on the inside to produce the Midlayer Supreme. A great alternative to a soft shell jacket, the Midlayer
Supreme is offered in a jacket style. Quality and detail can be found throughout these garments with
coordinating knit patterns on the sleeves, zippered pockets in the jacket and the signature Dale logo and
metal zipper pulls. Styles can be worn separately or in a coordinating layering system. Suggested retail
ranges from $250 to $400.

and as warm as a heavy sweater, because the fibers are hollow core. This creates insulation within the
fiber that makes it light and very warm. Bunnie Lux is a performance fabric with wicking and antimicrobial

Auclair Sports has reached deep into its historic past and re-validated the Company’s historic tie to snowshoeing, an iconic sport that traces its roots back to the famous French Canadian “coureurs-de-bois”, who
traded with the Continents’ first nations for furs and then back-packed and sledded them from the interior
regions to the harbor cities where boats from Europe arrived in the 17th,18th and 19th centuries to bring the
pelts to Europe, where they were made into coats and the famous beaver hats.
Today Auclair has used modern materials to create a full range of snow-shoeing gloves and mitts such
as the “Huron Flex-factor” glove, made from a 4 way stretch polyester waterproof breathable laminate
fabric shell. The palm is durable water resistant goatskin and the glove is lined with 3M thinsulate C40
laminate to a thin, flexible bemberg lining. The cuff has a Velcro cinch and neoprene cuffing for great
warmth retention and all day comfort. They are an ideal compliment to the modern light-weight
snowshoes and ancilliary gear that the lovers of this “new” iconic sport need. The gloves retail for $40.00.

The ECO-X, recyclable glove- Swany America, created the first “closed-loop” recyclable winter glove.
(Translation: It can be used for a few years and then returned to the company to create another glove.)
The Eco-X’s windproof and waterproof recycled polyester material can be repeatedly reused to create
more fabric. By recycling the gloves chemically it will reduce CO2 emissions and use less energy than
when producing the polyester from virgin material. Once consumers have used and abused the gloves,
they can send the pair back in an envelope provided. The palm is taken off and recycled in the US. The
rest of the glove is repurposed into a new pair of gloves.

New for 10/11, the 4FRNT Renegade (135/122/129, full rocker) is a culmination of a two-year journey for
Eric Hjorliefson. What he wanted was a ski to deal with the deepest of deep days and coastal-type
snowpack with a higher moisture content where powder exerts more resistance against a ski. Rather than
relating wants and desires to a designer, Hoji learned how to build skis from the ground up. 4FRNT got on
board and again has production capabilities in their headquarters: a space dubbed "The White Room."
For this fall, Hoji will pump 150-200 pairs of the hand-built, wooden-sidewalled Renegade. Look for small
batches of other specialized 4FRNTs to come out of the White Room in the future.

To fill the gap between standard all-mountain skis and the infamous fatties, Line’s Prophet 115 creates a
middle ground between powder skis and carving skis. Built with directional flex for smooth skiing and
stability on every terrain along with a P-Cut 5-radius sidecut for effortless turn initiation, the 115 conquers
the entire mountain without asking you to pack a whole quiver. Early-Rise dimensions keep your tips
afloat without sacrificing edge hold and Line’s proven Metal Matrix technology puts more metal, thus
responsiveness, where you need and removes metal for reduced weight where you don’t.

S7 Ski
Rossignol’s S7 floats and turns better, and skis easier thanks to its unique design, called Amptek. Amptek
features a combination of traditional camber underfoot and more progressive “rocker” at tip and tail. The
combination of the two makes the S7 float better in deep snow; pivot and skid in powder; hold on hard
snow; and turn more easily on trails. Professional big mountain skiers and once struggling intermediates
agree, the S7 is revolutionary in its ability to make powder skiing easier, more fun and more dynamic.

in North America a solution to one of the biggest problems they encounter – fogging of goggles and face
shields. FogShielsd Sport consists of pre-moistened towelettes that simultaneously prevent fog from
forming on goggles for eight hours or more and help keep lenses clean with just one application. Athletes
at all ability levels know that the wrong combination of temperature, activity and humidity causes
protective goggles to fog up, making it virtually impossible to see when conditions align to create fog. To
provide the highest level of fog prevention, FogShield Sport uses a specially developed chemical
composition created by a precise mix of ingredients. FogShield Sport’s proprietary technology was
originally formulated to work in the harshest industrial settings. It has been tried, tested and proven on
professionals ranging from firefighters to hazmat technicians. The product’s effectiveness in eliminating
fog in goggles was previously recognized by the International Association of Hazardous Materials
Technicians as the Hazardous Materials Response Product of the Year. Packaged in small foil pouches
that are about the size of hand-wipes, FogShield Sport fits effortlessly in a pocket or bag. FogShield Sport
costs about $2 per application.

The SHADOW is the newest 'goggle' in the Briko line-up for Winter 2010-11. But this new innovation
fresh out of the BrikoLab is not your typical goggle at all. In fact, it has no frame whatsoever. The
SHADOW is a goggle lens with face foam and a strap. For those that do not like the 'bulk' of goggle, but
appreciate features such as a high-quality spherical and mirrored anti-fog lens, the all new SHADOW is a
dream come true!
