Year 8 History independent learning project
For this half term our new unit of work centres on World War One. We will be looking at the causes
and impact of World War One in lessons and the homework topics for this half term will involve
research skills and creating symbols of remembrance to commemorate 100 years since the
beginning of the war. The final assessment will be a presentation of the students work to be
displayed at school.
Choose six from the list of topics and fill in the homework timetable with your chosen task each
week. Include at least 2 written tasks.
