The event was The Commission, and Fellows from all over the world submitted proposals. The winners were visual artist Maja Spasova (England and Germany) and composer Luis Hilario Arévalo (Mexico). On Saturday, June 1, at the University of Virginia Foundation’s Morven Farm, hundreds of guests mingled with the music, mirrors, and magic of Bright Shiny Me.
