Pillot
Summary
I have been involved with higher education since my undergraduate days as a student volunteer for various admissions office events. As an
alumni, I continued to be involved with the admissions process, which ultimately lead to my current position at NYU as an Admissions
officer.
I strive to integrate the most effective practices and tools in making the admissions process clearer and more efficient. Technology has
played a major role in my quest to develop the best communication strategies with parents, students, and counselors.
I also make it a point to volunteer my time (mostly with non-profits who deal with college access issues and community based organizations
that seek a better understanding of college admissions) by speaking on panels or working with students and families on realizing their
potential for college.
