Lesson Eight: First Declension Nouns (Module A)
Feminine Nouns
Morphology: The Nominal System (Part 3)
Level Three: English-Greek Vocabulary Study
This exercise encourages the student to learn all of their vocabulary
well. Normally, vocabulary lists cite the Greek word with the English
translation to be furnished. This exercise is in reverse--the vocabulary list
cites the English translation with the expectation of the student to supply
the Greek word, followed by its abbreviated genitive singular, article, and
its declension-paradigm notation. All breathing and accent marks are to be
placed properly on the Greek forms for the answer to be correct.
