Robin Baron brings significant experience in all aspects of interior design. In the Interior Design community, Robin is among the
pioneers in social media. Her blog, SimplifyingFabulous.com, has become well known for its fun and informative approach and has a
strong following. Robin also has an active presence on cross-platforms including Twitter and Facebook. Robin’s experience with
social media and marketing is among the many assets she brings to her presidency of the ASID New York Metro Chapter.
Robin’s mission remains creating interiors that inspire, while helping empower people through their homes. Robin will infuse the
ASID New York Metro Chapter with her leadership skills, her love of life, her enthusiastic personality and her vast experience,
ensuring a bright and fresh era for the organization.

If selected Chapter Leader for Membership, my key goals would be outreach and developing and maintaining relationships with
existing membership members and non-members; review of the existing membership activities to insure that they meet the current
needs of members; and on-going assessment of the needs of membership (in conjunction with the membership board) to update
membership activities based on the needs of membership. It is my desire to reach out to each member personally by phone to find
out about their satisfaction with the membership and other valuable information that they may share that would assist ASID NY
Metro Chapter in providing the best membership value and support to its members.

My primary goal would be to assist my fellow chapter leaders and facilitate our board members outreach throughout the design
industry, targeting Industry Partners, as well as work to increase Industry Partners and future Industry Partners involvement in our
chapter activities though regular communications and a targeted Industry Partner membership drive.
Additionally, I anticipate being able to help cultivate our future chapter leaders development and provide a conduit for assisting our
Industry Partners and their needs, while striving to increase membership retention.
