 Niger Innis - National Spokesman for the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE)
representing CORE across the country and around the world. Founded in 1942,
CORE is the third-oldest and one of the 'Big Four' civil rights groups in the United
States. Mr. Innis serves on a variety of other national and international boards,
such as the Chairman of the Affordable Power Alliance (APA), a diverse coalition
of civil rights, African American, Hispanic, senior citizens, and faith based
organizations which advocate a balanced energy policy that keeps costs low for
economically vulnerable populations. With extensive media and political
experience, Mr. Innis currently is a political on-air contributor for KSNV-TV (NBC
News Affiliate) and a frequent guest commentator for CNN, Fox News Channel
and MSNBC providing insight and analysis on the day's news events.
