Chuck Nash Chevrolet Buick GMC - Service Reviews 3209 N I 35, San Marcos , TX 78666 Services Rating: (14 reviews) Recommend: Yes (14) No (0) Service Rating 2014 Acadia - Nash GMC By u139862 on 09/13/14 08:16:42 AM PDT Recommend this dealer? Yes Overall the experience was very good. To complete the accessories to the vehicle, a pickup and delivery service was provided to our home. This included a loaner vehicle during this period. The only issue at this point is the cargo mats are not providing the floor coverage as expected. The mats will be returned. Service Rating Chuck Nash - San Marcos By jlstrobes on 09/12/14 09:14:50 AM PDT Recommend this dealer? Yes My experience was great. I was in and out at the estimated time, communicated by Chuck Nash personnel. My only suggestion is that upon arrival all Chuck Nash personnel asked who my appointment was with. I scheduled my appointment online so didn't know this information. Service Rating Great service department, workstations in customer lounge would be nice By JonAustin on 06/25/14 08:50:34 AM PDT Recommend this dealer? Yes Everyone I've met at your dealership is outgoing, friendly, courteous, proactive and helpful. I appreciate the free WiFi you make available in your customer lounge, but it would be really helpful if you had a workstation or two, where customers like myself could plug their laptops in to AC power, and have a desktop work on. Service Rating Not Happy! By ndawind on 12/12/08 12:00:00 AM PST Recommend this dealer? No I was unlucky enough to break down 150 miles from home on a Saturday. My 07 Avalanche was towed to Chuck Nash Auto Group because it was the closest GM dealership. Monday morning when I talked to the service dept. I asked them to also check why the right blinker would not work on trailers when I towed them, a problem I had noticed with every trailer that I have towed. I was told the fuel pump was out and it would cost $1000.00 for the repair, 5 hours labor at $90 an hour and $488 for the part. I was dumfounded at the price to replace a fuel pump and told them I would pick the truck up and not to repair. So my total without making any repairs was $210.00, $90 for the troubleshooting on the fuel pump and $110 for troubleshooting the blinker issue and replacing fuse. I borrowed a truck and trailer to pick up my Avalanche, when I arrived I checked my trailer plug with a volt meter to find that I still was not getting voltage to the right blinker, so at least they were kind enough to remove that charge. It took me an hour to come along my Avalanche on to the trailer with service techs watching. I would think for the $90 that I paid I could of at least got some assistance. Anyway I replaced my fuel pump in my driveway and it took me 2 1/2 hours at $0 for labor and I am by no means an experienced mechanic, it makes me wonder how they can charge so much and get away with it.
