Credits Per Semester
12-18 Credits Flat Rate
 You will be charged the same fees regardless of
whether you are taking 12-18 credits, which is
considered a full time student.
 Ramapo offers four-credit classes. Most students
take 16 credits per semester (4 classes) to
graduate on time.
 1-2 credit classes are offered each semester
 Great option for making up credits lost coming
from a 3-credit system to a 4-credit system
 Ex: Leadership Skills, Stress Management, Scuba
Diving, Spinning, Tennis, Yoga, Theories of
Coaching, and more!

Insurance Waivers
Parking Permit or Waiver
Parking is automatically charged to commuter accounts and
upperclassmen accounts that will have a car on campus
 First-year students are not permitted to have a car on campus

AlcoholEdu
AlcoholEdu for College is an interactive Web-based educational
program designed to provide basic facts about alcohol use.
Will be live and available August 1st
Part 1 must be completed by August 31st
Part 2 must be completed by October 19th
Students must complete Part 1 and Part 2 of AlcoholEdu within the
designated timeframe in order to be cleared to register for the
spring 2014 semester.

The Bradley Center &
Intramurals
Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center
Opened in September 2004, the Bradley Center is an 110,000 square
foot, student-oriented, multi-purpose facility.
 Sharp Fitness Center

The fitness center is equipped with state of the art
weight training circuit and aerobic fitness machines.
 Rock Climbing Wall

The twenty-eight foot climbing wall was designed to
simulate the natural topography of the neighboring
Ramapo Mountain Terrain.

 Locker Rooms
Intramurals
 Intramural sports offers all Ramapo College students,
faculty and staff the chance to participate together in a wide
variety of team sports, individual sports, and special events.
 Some of the most popular Intramural programs at Ramapo
College of New Jersey include flag football, basketball,
volleyball, softball, soccer, kickboxing, mixed martial arts,
ultimate frisbee and bowling.

 Challenging hiking is possible but
areas closest to the parking lot
are primarily used for strolling,
jogging, and occasionally
studying

Trail (green markers) results in a
picture-book panorama of
suburban New Jersey, including
Ramapo College

Meal Plans
 Meal Plans are required for all on-campus residents who
live in a traditional hall




Sensible Six: 6 meals/week, $450 flex
Tasty Ten: 10 meals/week, $100 flex
Super Fourteen: 14 meals/week, $100 flex
Ultimate Plan: unlimited meals, $50 flex
 Ramapo Dollars: can be added to account, carries over
each semester (ideal for commuters!)
