Welcome Week is for all students, including
commuters and transfers. There will be a
variety of required events and social
opportunities for all students.
First day of Fall classes:

AlcoholEdu
AlcoholEdu for College is an interactive Web-based educational
program designed to provide basic facts about alcohol use.
Will be live and available August 3rd
Part 1 must be completed by August 28th
Part 2 must be completed by October 26th
Students must complete Part 1 and Part 2 of AlcoholEdu within the
designated timeframe in order to be cleared to register for the
spring 2016 semester.

Parking Permit Waivers
Parking Permit or Waiver
Parking is automatically charged to commuter and
upperclassmen
accounts
First-year students are not permitted to have a car on campus
Permit (decal): Log on to www.thepermitstore.com to order
Deadline to submit waiver is Friday, September 18, 2014
Waiver can be accessed on the Bursar’s website

Credits Per Semester
12-18 Credits Flat Rate
 You will be charged the same fees regardless of
whether you are taking 12-18 credits, which is
considered a full time student.
 Ramapo offers four-credit classes. Most students
take 16 credits per semester (4 classes) to graduate
on time.
 1-2 credit classes are offered each semester
 Great option for making up credits lost coming
from a 3-credit system to a 4-credit system
 Ex: Leadership Skills, Stress Management, Scuba
Diving, Spinning, Tennis, Yoga, Theories of
Coaching, and more!

Meal Plans
 Meal Plans are required for all on-campus residents
who live in a traditional hall




Sensible Six: 6 meals/week, $450 flex
Tasty Ten: 10 meals/week, $100 flex
Super Fourteen: 14 meals/week, $100 flex
Ultimate Plan: unlimited meals, $50 flex
 Ramapo Dollars: can be added to account, carries over
each semester (ideal for commuters!)
