THE ADVENTURE BEGINS…… Imagine watching the water level rise above
your mask as you slowly move below the surface of the ocean into the depths
below - and continue to breathe! It's the most surreal and exciting feeling
imaginable.
Through 2 Dive 4 Scuba, you will qualify in NAUI Scuba Diver certification, and have fun, while we teach you everything
you need to know to independently and competently scuba dive with a dive buddy, so as to be able to explore and
discover the magical world that lies beneath the waves.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
PRE-REQUISITES
Scuba Diver is the NAUI entry level scuba certification
course. It provides the all the fundamental knowledge and
skills required to begin scuba diving as a sport, leisure
pursuit or pastime, and provides safety through education.
Upon successful completion of this course, graduates are
considered competent to engage in open water diving
activities, internationally, and without supervision.

Candidates must be 15 years of age. A NAUI Junior
course for divers aged 10-14 years is available.
In terms of international entry requirements for all
scuba courses, through all training organisations,
candidates must also:
• Be in good health;
• Be able to float unaided for 10 minutes;
• Be able to swim underwater with no dive or
push off.
COURSE SCHEDULE
2 Dive 4 Scuba is aware that, with today’s hectic lifestyle, many keen divers are not able to fit their scuba dreams into
their schedule, which is why lectures, pool sessions and open water sessions are run after hours and on weekends.
The course consists of five lectures, one pool session and five open water dives (four scuba and one snorkel) – which
means that you could be a certified scuba diver in as little as 2 WEEKS! Course schedule is outlined below.

Daily lectures commence at 18:30 and run until 21:00 at 60 Lemoendoring St, Weltevreden Park.
Pool and Open Water sessions are full-day sessions. Open Water qualifying dives sessions take place at
Miracle Waters near Brits or Bass Lake near Vereeniging; dependant on water visibility.

The exclusive use of ALL required SCUBA equipment and snorkel gear,
including a wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins, boots, weight belt, and weights
for the duration of the course. (Please note: Should you decide to
purchase your own soft gear set, i.e. mask, snorkel, fins and wetsuit, that
we are able to source top quality gear at discounted prices)
"Divers Alert Network" (DAN) medical aid cover for the entire duration
of the course at no additional cost.
Cost of pool session
PLEASE NOTE: Cylinder air fills for pool and open water sessions at Miracle Waters/Bass Lake, as well as entrance per day,
are for your own account. Air fills cost R50 per fill and you will use an average of 4-5 fills over the two days. Entrance into
Miracle Waters/Bass Lake is +/- R60 per day.
