Web Site Usage Definitions:
Total Unique Users/Visitors: The estimated number of different individuals that visited any content of a website, a category, a channel, or an application during the reporting period.
The domains attributed to this site’s activity are defined according to comScore’s standards and are as disclosed above.
comScore utilizes a research-based method to project the total number of Unique Users/Visitors to the site. A sample of Internet users’ behavior is monitored using installed
proprietary software on their computers. The panelist’s activities are then statistically projected to the entire Internet user population. Since individual human behavior is monitored,
the number reported in Unique Visitors could be interpreted as people.
Visit: A series of interactions by a visitor with a site without 30 consecutive minutes of inactivity.
A Page Impression/View is defined as a page that has been fully loaded into a browser. In a general sense, a page consists of an HTML file plus all of the images/objects requested by
the HTML. Page Views are also counted in online services (e.g. AOL and MSN Explorer) and applications, as long as the content is loaded into a page.

Verification of the Website Usage data included a review of the domains represented to be associated with the member newspaper’s website and, for server based measurements,
such other tests as deemed appropriate to confirm compliance to AAM digital services definitions and standards. This verification does not include AAM participation in the
publisher’s choice of data provider for website usage statistics nor should it be construed as an endorsement by AAM of the methodology or technologies used by the data providers.
To Members of the Alliance for Audited Media:
Data annotated as ‘subject to audit’ represent items reported on the most recent AAM member’s Publisher’s Statement and will be
verified at the next scheduled audit period.
Other data have been examined in accordance with AAM’s Bylaws and Rules, and included such tests and other audit procedures as
we considered necessary under the circumstances.
In our opinion, the other data items contained in this report are fairly stated in all respects material to the totals reported.
