I could not have entered the healthcare arena at a better time than now...when there is so much room for transformation and innovative ideas.” Luisa Hurtado Operations, Mercy Health Select, ACO the healing ministry of Jesus • Recognizing the importance of mentoring relationships that promote ongoing professional development and career advancement engage fellows’ responsibilities Fellows will take full advantage of learning in their assigned locations by participating in project opportunities such as: evaluate • Developing a marketing plan for a new service line support • Conducting a service line analysis • Developing a business plan for an expansion project • Engaging in continuous improvement for efforts under way • Conducting a feasibility study to examine a new opportunity Fellows will meet regularly with their preceptor to ensure alignment with regional and system strategy and gain feedback on their performance, with attention to their development plan. Fellows will attend regular leadership meetings at the regional and/or system level as identified by his or her preceptor. Fellows will complete ALL mandatory education required by the region and/or system. Fellows will be invited to attend at least one national conference such as ACHE, NAHSE, IHI, CHA, etc. at the approval of the corporate preceptor. Fellows will keep the corporate preceptor informed about issues/concerns regarding the Administrative Fellowship Program. Previous work experience is preferred. Candidates must also be willing to serve in a faith-based Catholic healthcare organization.
