TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (TAP)

BCA will once again offer tuition assistance for qualifying families for the 13/14 school year. It will also
be available to new families. Please submit an application online during the month of May so that we can
allocate funds appropriately. We will use the same third party company, CFA, as we have done the past
few years. If applications are sent after May 31, 2013, we cannot guarantee funds regardless of the results
from your submission.

COUPON REFERRAL PROGRAM

BCA is pleased to continue to offer the Coupon Referral Program for the 2013/14 school year. You will
receive coupons with your enrollment packet to be distributed to prospective new families. If they enroll
their child(ren), you will receive a 10% discount on a single child's tuition. There is no limit to the
number of families you refer.
 If the family leaves any time during the first half of the school year, your 10% discount will be
prorated to the month of the departure at a rate of 2% per month (i.e., family departs in Oct, you
receive credit of 2% for August and 2% for September for a total of 4%)
STUDENT WITHDRAWS - Tuition Expectations


If a family withdraws their child or children from BCA at any time during the first half of the school year,
the family is still responsible for tuition through the end of the first half of the year - 5 months of tuition
to be paid based on the 10 month payment plan.
If a family withdraws their child or children from BCA at any time during the second half of the school
year, the family is still responsible for tuition through the end of the school year - 10th payment on June
5th based on the 10 month payment plan
KROGER CARD INCENTIVE

The school receives 4% back on all Kroger gift card reloads. You must have a Kroger card purchased
through BCA. As a benefit for using this card you will receive 2% of this amount. It will be applied to
your last payment due at the end of the school year. If, however, you do not remain at BCA for the entire
school year, you will forfeit any accrued amount throughout the year. You may have as many cards in
your name as you choose. Simply purchase the $5.00 preloaded cards from the BCA office and distribute
to family members and friends to accrue an unlimited amount of credit.
ANNUAL AUCTION MANDATES

While we have relied heavily on the Annual Auction in the past, we are trying to become more stable
without the need of an annual auction; therefore, we have reduced the forecast this coming year to $15k
from the previous $25k-30k. Based on this adjustment, the following will be imposed during the 2013/14
school year with the expectation that the auction will not take place in the 2014/15 school year:
 Ticket selling is not optional, each family will receive 10 tickets and return $100 and ticket stubs
only
 Donate or solicit 2 items worth $50.00 or send in a check for $100.00 to cover these items
 Participate in the auction by volunteering the day prior to the auction to assist in setting up or
volunteer the day of the auction in some capacity. Failure to participate will result in a fee of $150
imposed on your account
 If the preceding items do not occur, the appropriate charges listed above will be added to your
families’ account balance and will need to be paid prior to your child(ren) returning to school the
following month after the auction
NOTE: Families may choose to opt out of the auction by simply writing a check for $300 at any time
prior to the auction packet delivery. After delivery of the packets, expected to occur prior to Christmas
break, you may opt out for $350.
ADDITIONAL COSTS

When budgeting for your child’s education, please understand that additional funds will be needed for
expenses such as classroom supplies, activities, field trips, etc.
