POINTS OF PRIDE STA has two semesters with a flexible schedule that promotes student responsibility for scheduling of unstructured time. Our graduates enter college with considerable experience in decision making and self-direction in time management. All students participate in a one-to-one laptop program with a commitment to technology and Going Global for the 21st Century. AP World Language exams are an option. St. Teresa’s is in partnership with the Online School for Girls, a fully accredited online learning community. Online courses are available to juniors and seniors interested in a subject not offered on our campus. AP courses vary on prerequisite requirements, some courses are open to all students. GRADING & RANKING Letter grades and grading scale are not used. If a grade scale is needed, please refer to the NCAA scale of 90-100=A, 80-89=B, etc. A 66.49 or below is considered failing and no credit is granted. The Percentage Point Average is calculated with semester grades; physical education courses are not calculated in the cumulative percentage. An additional 5 percentage points is added to the cumulative percentage for all Honors/AP/ College Dual Enrollment courses with a 77.0 or above. The additional weight is not shown in the semester course percentage earned, only in the cumulative percentage.
