Job Summary
Efficient operations of equipment to ensure quality packaged products within specification ranges, meeting production standards and cost to
produce standards. Efficiently operate equipment to produce products in conformance with all Dickinson Frozen Foods, Inc. safety, quality, and
cost standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
Essential

Operate equipment to optimum efficiencies to meet quality, cost and operational requirements of daily schedules.

Coordinate, schedule and track all product and packaging going to and going from bagger line.

Participate in the training of Production Specialist ensuring performance meets standards at line flow speeds.

Must be able to interpret and follow Process Specifications to ensure the product and packaging meets DFF’s quality standards as well
as customer specifications.

Reduce packaging and product waste by operating equipment efficiently.

Communicate with the QA technicians, leads, maintenance technicians, supervisors, safety, and material control personnel to ensure
product quality, timely production, timely accurate production reporting in a safe work environment and product is safe for human
consumption.

Monitor actual production against schedule; communicate/coordinate required volumes with production supervisor.

Create and maintain a teamwork environment within the facility.

Complete sanitation of line and equipment as needed/directed.

Improve production efficiencies through training, equipment recommendations and communications with supervisor, etc.

Notify management of any production, safety, quality or environmental concerns with equipment, operation or facility.

Oversee Production specialists while reworking product that does not meet product specification

Follow production policies and procedures. This includes Employee handbook, GMP’s, Food Safety, HACCP, and any other
designated company procedures.

Follow all company workplace safety policies and procedures as per OSHA regulations. (i.e. Food Defense Plan, LOTO).

Knowledge of bagging specifications, ranges, targets to meet quality standards.

Diligently practice Good Housekeeping to help minimize slips, trips, and falls while ensuring that workplace is sanitary.

Properly fill out Bagger inspection check list and return to the shift Supervisor at the end of each shift.

Maintain good personnel hygiene, follow GMP’s and keep a clean, safe and sanitary work place. Immediately report any situation that
may cause the product to be contaminated.

Enter only through the main reception area or other controlled entrances using the company issued FOB card. The FOB card cannot be
loaned to another person. In the event a key FOB is lost, report the loss to your Supervisor and/or Human resources immediately.
Comply with plant security by ensuring that doors are locked and closed behind you. Report any suspicious activities to your
Supervisor immediately.


Complete other duties as assigned.

Candidate must provide his/her own tools to include: screwdriver (philips and flathead), box knife, and wrench set (to include standard
3/8”, ½” (2), 9/16”, 5/8” wrenches, allen wrenches).
Supervision of Others

Assist Production Supervisor in overseeing Production Specialists assigned to your area.

Successfully earn Lockout/Tagout(LOTO) certification provided by Company.
Licenses, Permits, Certifications Required

Successfully earn Lockout/Tagout(LOTO) certification provided by Company.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Essential

Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently throughout the day. May be required to bend, kneel, and stoop periodically.
Shift: Day Shift, 7:45am to 4pm. Swing Shift, 3:45pm to Midnight.
