SUR-FIT NATURA® ADAPTER
Contents
The Sur-Fit Natura Low-Pressure Adaptor converts any Sur-Fit Natura ostomy system into a low-pressure solution post-surgery. The product is an insert between
the Sur-Fit Natura pouch and skin barrier to create enough clearance for a nurse
to insert fingers and snap the pouch coupling ring into place without applying
force directly to the patient’s abdomen, which may cause pain or otherwise
harm the post-op area.
Use of the Sur-Fit Natura Low-Pressure Adaptor should be discontinued when
abdominal tenderness subsides. The pouch and skin barrier will connect together without using the Sur-Fit Natura Low-Pressure Adaptor.

Stomahesive Skin Barrier is a multi-purpose hydrocolloid skin barrier composed
of gelatin, pectin, sodium carboxymethylcellulose and polyisobutylene laminated between polyethylene and an opaque paper backing for use as a peristomal
covering with ostomies and around fistulas. Stomahesive Protective Powder is
composed of gelatin, pectin and sodium carboxymethylcellulose helping to form
a protective barrier. Increases wear time by absorbing moisture while helping to
prevent skin irritation. Stomahesive Paste is similar to Stomahesive Protective
Powder. It is a highly effective filler, sealant and protective skin barrier for use
with colostomy, ileostomy and urinary stomas. The paste is also used to protect
exposed skin around fistula sites, between the base of the stoma and the opening in the appliance and as a filler for skin folds, uneven skin surfaces and scars.
Double-sided Stomahesive Strips for use as a filler to protect or fill-in uneven

nEW iMAGE™ Two-Piece Drainable Ostomy POUCH
A drainable pouch, as its name suggests, can be opened from the bottom to
empty the contents. A clamp is used to keep the pouch closed. A person with a
colostomy or ileostomy would use this type of pouch. A drainable pouch is inappropriate for use by a person with a urostomy. All bags are beige in colour and
are available in a standard 12” (30cm) length.

New Image Drainable Mini-Pouch
New Image Drainable Pouch with 7” Mini-Pouch, integrated filter, odor-barrier,
rustle-free film and ComfortWear panels that are transparent on the body side
only. The New Image Floating Flange allows for fingers to be put under the
flange for support while attaching the pouch to the barrier. The integrated Lock
‘n Roll closure is located at the tail of the pouch. There is no more need to use a
pouch clamp since there are plastic fasteners attached to the tail of the pouch to
ensure security when locked into place. To close, roll the tail of the pouch three
times in the same direction, press from the middle out and feel the seal.
