The following resources will be reviewed and demonstrated following a brief introduction to the library homepage: http://www.lib.uoguelph.ca/ RefWorks/Write-n-Cite - RefWorks is a bibliographic management service that will collect, store and organize citations you've found to journal articles, books, web sites and other sources. A really great timesaver when writing, especially for thesis work, it will create correctly formatted bibliographies and manuscripts automatically to the format you specify. Available to all registered students. http://www.lib.uoguelph.ca/research/create_bibliographies/ PRIMO – The central catalogue of holdings for the Tri_University Group – Guelph, Waterloo, and Laurier and their affiliated libraries. PRIMO allows interactive searching for print materials, videos, sound recordings, e-books, e-journals, databases. Note that journals, magazines, databases, and indexes will be listed by title only, and individual articles will not be listed. http://www.lib.uoguelph.ca/ Journal Database Searching – Databases relevant to Pathobiology such as Scholars Portal, PubMed, Web of Science, FSTA, CABI, and AGRICOLA will be highlighted. Internet Resources – Google Scholar, Google Books and Google Images will be reviewed.
