ACADEMIC PROBATION NOTICE
Dear :
As a student who has attempted between 30 and 55 credits AND has a cumulative grade point
average below a 2.00 you are currently on Academic Probation.
Beginning Spring quarter 2014 your account may be blocked and you will be unable to register
for subsequent quarters at Bellevue College.
It is important that you take immediate action to improve your academic performance. Below
are strategies to assist you moving forward with your academic career.




Meet with an advisor or counselor to discuss your educational goals. To make an

Bellevue College Academic Standards Policy: Academic Probation and Academic Dismissal as defined by
the Academic Standards Policy, states that students will be considered on Academic Probation after
attempting 30 credits with a cumulative grade point average of less than 2.0. Students will be dismissed
from the college after attempting 60 or more credits with a cumulative grade point average of less than
2.00.
