High-clarity Polypropylene
BD Falcon conical tubes are made from high-clarity
polypropylene. Combining strength, chemical resistance,
thermal stability, and optical clarity, BD Falcon tubes
provide reliable performance for all of your critical
research applications.
Dual Snap-cap
Patented dual snap-cap enables both culturing and
storage in the same tube. Leave it loose to allow for aerobic
culturing while keeping your sample clean and sterile. When
a tight closure is required, simply push down on the cap to
obtain a leak-proof seal. This prevents leakage of your
sample during handling and storage. It also prevents
your sample from evaporating.
Screw Cap
The BD Falcon 50 mL conical tube with screw-top cap is ideal
for applications requiring multiple aliquoting, storage, and
pouring from the same tube. These original industry leading
BD Falcon conical tubes have caps which are double-threaded
allowing one-handed manipulation and reducing the chance
of cross threading.

Serological and Aspirating Pipets
Transfer Pipet
BD Falcon serological and aspirating pipets are sterile
polystyrene products differentiated by their graduation
markings and color coding. The aspirating pipet does not
include a polyester plug to allow fluid to pass through
the end of the pipet.
BD Falcon transfer pipets are polyethylene molded one-piece
pipets with a suction bulb. They are ideal for many laboratory
applications where simple measurement and safe transfer of
fluid volumes is required. They are provided sterile or non-sterile
and are ideal for applications such as hematology, urinalysis,
blood banking—anywhere there is a need for simple, quick
measurement of fluids.

pipet you use will enhance your aseptic fluid processing.
Speed and Control
The BD Falcon™ Express™ Pipet-Aid® allows you complete
control over your dispensing speed. Continuously variable
control as well as three set ranges—slow, medium, and
fast—provides you options to optimize your pipetting speed.
Flexible Packaging Options
Simplify your aseptic work flow with color coding and ease of
opening and removal using BD Falcon pipets. BD Biosciences
originated individual packaging for pipets providing you
superior ease-of-use and sterility assurance. A variety of
packaging options including paper-plastic, all-plastic, and bulk
packages are available to meet your lab needs. The all-plastic
packaging provides lower particulate shedding required for
clean room environments and is fully recyclable.
Graduation Alignment System
Unlike other pipetters, only the BD Falcon Express Pipet-Aid
offers a graduation alignment system. Simply line up the
mark on the nose-piece of the BD Falcon Express Pipet-Aid
with a similar mark found exclusively on BD Falcon serological
pipet to easily see the graduation marks on BD Falcon pipets.
This allows you to reproducibly measure and dispense your
fluids when you’re working in the hood.
Innovative 100 mL Pipet
The BD Falcon 100 ml pipet has up to a 115 mL graduated
capacity for large pipetting. The unique stepped design
allows you easy access to small mouthed vessels such as flasks
and tubes in an aseptic manner preventing foaming and cell
damage.allowing one-handed manipulation and reducing
the chance of cross threading.
