IT’S TIME TO HAMMER DOWN

John Deere 1025R versus Kubota BX2670

Want a toolbox?

Customers pay extra on a Kubota BX2670.

The John Deere 1025R has a standard toolbox plus additional storage for the operator’s manual. No such convenience on a BX.

Kubota BX buyers just don’t know what they are missing. So now that’s your mission, to let prospects know the only rational choice is a John Deere 1-Series.

Here are the BX weaknesses. Flip side has our strengths. Time to flip some Kubota owners!

Cluttered Operator Station

Heel/toe treadle pedal for the hydro is uncomfortable and clumsy to use.

In addition, the loader control lever restricts operator entry from the right side

Easy-Dent Hood

Kubota’s metal hood is prone to dents, scratches, and rust. $400–$600 to replace. Plus, it’s noisy and rattles.

Loader let-down

Kubota delivers just 745 lbs of lift capacity.

(The 1025R 836 lbs.!)

• Kubota has just one 48” bucket – small to match smaller lift.

• The John Deere 1025R offers two bucket options: 49” and 53”

Backhoe blues.

Kubota only offers it on the BX25D. No backhoe is available for their BX2670-1,

BX2370-1, and BX 1870-1

Overworked 3-point

To lift the mower deck, Kubota still uses linkages connected to the 3-point hitch. Prior to mowing, customers should remove 3-point hitch implements. The John Deere 1 Family has an independent mower lift, so customers can leave implements on the 3-point hitch and mow at the same time.

Ready for Deck Wrestling?

You need some serious muscle to line-up, drag beneath, and hook up a mower deck on the BX.

Nothing like the easy AutoConnect™ drive-over deck on the 1 Family.

Danger zone!

Kubota’s steering cylinder is in front of the front axle--more chances for damage and expensive repairs. (The 1025R steering cylinder is behind the axle and protected.)
