Understanding how to quickly develop your Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Social Intelligence (SI) will fast-track your career opportunities, workplace performance, and levels of satisfaction.
Emotional Intelligence is defined as the degree to which you understand , manage and express your internal emotional state.
Social Intelligence is defined as the skills and sophistication you use in interacting with others.
After the mastery of technical excellence, it is the mastery of your personal presentation and your ability to connect with and influence others that will determine your growth in the workplace. During this day of experiential learning, Coral Sea

Personal Styles and Effectiveness
The AMA DISC Survey ™ is a personal styles survey based on William Marston’s DISC framework. At the request of the
American Management Association, Dr Robert Cooke Ph.D of Human Synergistics, developed and updated Marston’s work into a reliable and valid tool specific to measuring work place behavioural styles. Unlike other existing ‘personality’ tools, AMA DISC Survey
™ is specifically focused on workplace behaviour, providing direction for personal development and a language to lead and discuss behavioural differences constructively.
Assessing both productive and counter-productive on-the-job behaviours, the tool helps managers and individuals understand their personal strengths and limitations. Importantly, all styles can contribute to the effective functioning of groups and organisations. The key is understanding that certain styles are more appropriate and effective than others, depending on the style of other people present, the circumstances and the situation.
This fast moving day gives plenty of opportunity to understand and practice new skills:
• Understand your personal styles.
• Analyse the causes and effects of your styles.
• Consider, discuss and arrive at ‘takeaways’ from the day that meet your personal needs and desires for development.
• Identify strategies for modifying your styles to enhance your personal and interpersonal effectiveness.
• Implement new techniques to improve your Emotional
Intelligence and Social Intelligence.
This day is followed by your utilisation of these people engagement skills back at work, and a dial-in with other participants two to three weeks later to discuss your real world experiences.
You will join people from many disciplines in the workshop, to share experiences and to discuss how to best apply the day’s learnings in the workplace.

Registration Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of a registration must be notified in writing to Coral Sea Consulting. Cancellations made 7 days prior to the workshop date will receive a full refund less $100 administration fee. No refund will be given for cancellation after 7 days prior to the workshop date, however substitutions will be possible.
