Title of Data Mining: SAS Tennis Prediction

Abstract
Data Warehouse:
The main purpose of our project is to give users information on the different tennis statistics
and compare them based on the dataset we have of all the tennis grand slams played in 2013.
Data Mining:
The purpose of data mining is to predict the winner next year based on the present year data.
We will be predicting by applying prediction algorithms on the data set using Rapid Miner.
Progress Status:
1. There is no deviation from the original proposal
2. Project design and development done so far;
a. We studied the dataset and discovered the attributes necessary for generating
the stats.
b. Added a few attributes to improve the functionality of the tool based on the
attributes selected in the first step.
c. Created a star schema for the data warehouse and a database structure in SQL
SERVER.
d. Getting to know the working of Rapid Miner and algorithms present in it.
3. Schedule for remaining tasks.
