Leopard befriends cow in Gujarat village...
The following news has been taken from The Express News Website as reported by The Press Trust, India...
Vadodara, May 12: In a rare case of predator-prey friendship, a leopard coming to ‘visit’ a cow at night has literally
become the talk of the town.
The incredible ways of the two animals at Antoli village
in Waghodia Taluka of the district have attracted the attention of one and all, including the wild life activists.
According to honorary wildlife warden Rohit Vyas, who
has visited the village several times with other enthusiasts,
"the leopard has been visiting the cow from October last year
at regular intervals".
"After the villagers informed us about frequent visits of
the leopard to the sugarcane field for its close encounter with
the cow in the field, our team comprising conservator of forest H S Singh and others including wildlifer Manoj Thakkar
and Kartik Upadhyay, visited the village for verification",
Vyas told PTI here on Monday.
"It was unbelievable", he said adding, "they approached
each other at very close proximity and the fearless cow would
lick the leopard on its head and neck". Giving further details
about the animals-bond, Vyas said "the dogs would start barking when the leopard came to meet the waiting cow every
night between 9.30 PM to 10.30 PM".
God is Omnipresent - manifested in the all forms visible and invisible around us.
The Divine Love that exists in all the forms makes it only natural for all forms to live together in harmony.
When we feel distance with one another, that is when begin to experience problems in life...
Through my understanding of the teachings by Guruji Swami Shree Yogi Satyam
- Meeramata
Within our very own body system, this aspect of living together is demonstrated in many many ways.
Take for example, as part of our digestive system, the stomach plays an important role. The man digestion of our food takes
place in the stomach and small intestines. When we eat food, the
food in the mouth is taken by the esophagus into the stomach.
The walls of the stomach is lined with glands that produce gastric
juice that contain juices such as hydrochloric acid, mucus and
pepsinogens that assist with the digestion of food.
When food enters the stomach, the inactive pepsinogens are
converted into the active form of pepsins by the acid. Pepsins
digest and break down the protein food molecules that enter into
the stomach into simpler units. The stomach wall, being protein
nature, can very well be digested in the process, however, this
does not happen.
Why is that so? It is because of the Divine Love present naturally in each and every cell within us. When, for some reason, we
perceive distance, this natural balance within us becomes disrupted
and we experience problems with digestion and develop such conDiagram of the Stomach(Left) And The Stomach Wall (Right) ditions as stomach ulcer.
Another example of the Divine Love that exists within can be
seen within the structure of each and every cell in our body. The
structure of each cell is as shown on the right.
In each cell, there is a oval or spherical shaped body known as a
lysosome. A larger view of a lysosome is as shown below. In the
white blood cells in the body, the lysosomes contains enzymes that
protect the body by digesting foreign matter, such as microbes, that
enter the body. In a similar way, these enzymes have the capacity to
digest the cell itself, however,
they do not. Once again, this is due
to the Divine Love that exists
within. By nature, we want to live
together, not apart. It is only when
we think that we are separate from
another or that there is distance between myself and another that
problems arise. We have to live together unconditionally with all.
That is the true art of living toView Of Lysosome
