Key Note Speaker
Andy Whittaker ‘The Art of Being Brilliant’
Feel refreshed, invigorated and
able to function at your best (in
the workplace and at home)…
why settle for anything less than
being yourself, brilliantly?
We live in a manic society where
most people’s lives are on
permanent fast-forward. Our
workplace is typified by a never
ending regime of restructures and
budget cuts. Uncertainty prevails;
customer expectations are rising;
legislation is tightening. Audit or
inspection are just a round the
corner! Outside of work there are
family pressures; and society; and
the traffic. Oh, and don’t forget
the weather!
‘The Art of Being Brilliant’ provides an antidote to the crazy world that
typifies modern Britain. This session uses cutting edge research to
explore how you can be you, brilliantly. The aim is to share some of
the ‘secrets’ of Positive Psychology, focusing on learning new habits of
thinking and behaviour that will sustain personal ‘brilliance’. It is about
the ‘whole you’ and, as such, is applicable in and out of work.
Andy Whittaker has been described as the best thing to come out of
Morecambe since the M6 motorway. Andy is firmly rooted in the real
world. He can talk in big words but prefers not to, instead focusing on
bringing his life experiences into play, connecting with people from
all walks of life. He has spent time observing behaviour in companies
big and small. More importantly, he has spent his time learning about
leadership, communication, human interaction and positive psychology.
With a passion for learning; he is an advocate of the principles of
accelerated learning and uses the techniques to bring training to life.
