Dear Parents/Carers,
South East Essex Music Association Infant Music Festival 2015
I am pleased to inform you that your child has been chosen to take part in the South East Essex Schools
Music Association Infant Festival 2015. Thorpe Greenways Infant School will be performing on the
afternoon of Wednesday, 18th March 2015 at 1.00 pm, at the Freight House in Rochford.
The children will be taken by coach, which will have seatbelts, to the Freight House to arrive by 12.45 pm.
The Festival is scheduled to end at 2.30 pm. The children will return to school by coach.
Would parents please ensure that their child is wearing the following school uniform.
Boys – Grey trousers, black shoes.
Girls – Grey skirt/pinafore dress or trousers, black shoes.
White shirts and school ties will be provided.
Parents are invited to attend this lovely Music Festival to watch their child perform. Please be aware that
the Freight House now charges for parking. Would parents please make alternative arrangements, where
possible for younger siblings, as this can distract the children whilst they are performing and space is
limited. Admittance is by programme only, at a cost of £3.50 per person and there are limited numbers
available. Tickets can be purchased at the Infant School Office.
Would those parents who purchase a ticket please arrive to be seated by 12.45 pm. If you are parking the
organisers recommend that you pay enough to cover your vehicle up to 2.45 pm. If the Freight House car
park is full use the town centre or the station car park instead.
The children will need to have their lunch a little early on that day, so can you please either provide them
with a packed lunch from home or order one from the school on the attached slip.
Would parents kindly complete the attached permission slip and return to the school office before Friday,
6th March 2015.
