Something Different:
Virgin America has launched wi-fi access
to streaming TV service Netflix aboard
ViaSat equipped aircraft in the US. The
new service will provide guests on
equipped aircraft with access to the
entire Netflix catalogue of movies and TV
shows direct to their personal devices for
free until March next year.
British Airways has welcomed Google
maps onboard its aircraft, launching
virtual tours for guests on its 32 seat
Business class Airbus A318 executive
jet. From the comfort of their home,
Google users can cross the tarmac,
climb the steps and see inside.
