SHIPPED SEMEN STALLION SERVICE CONTRACT

one breeding to ________________________________________________________for the 2016 breeding season *
$1750, which includes a non-refundable chute fee of $250. Mare Name___________________________________

*Special Offer 1-mare-$1200.00, First overnight shipment included. Must be paid in full by
February, 15, 2016.
Cooled Semen $250 per shipment (subject to availability) overnight
Farm Pickup Fee $50
Pearson Show Horses, agent for the above named Stallion, will herein be referred to as Breeder.
This Stallion Service Contract is entered into subject to the following:
*Breeding: The Mare Owner hereby engages one service by shipped semen to A Dream Remembered for
the following mare for the 2016 season.
*Cooled semen will be shipped in a container provided by Pearson Show Horses. If the equitainer is not
returned within 5 business days, Mare Owner will be charged $250.
*The breeding season in force for this contract shall begin February 1 and close July 1 of the year covered
by this contract.
*A photo static copy of the Mare’s Registration shall be sent with the contract.
*Live foal guarantee: Mare Owner is guaranteed one live foal, meaning a foal which stands, nurses, and
lives 24 hours. If the Mare proves barren, aborts foal or foal is stillborn, a return season will be provided
for the subsequent year only if paper notification is given by a licensed veterinarian. Booster Rhino
pneumonitis vaccinations must be administered in the manner and frequency indicated by m for the
manufacturer or drugs as Mare progresses thru her pregnancy. Live foal guarantee is provided only for the
contract year breeding season and shall be void if mare is sold prior to foaling. Upon failure of mare owner
to comply with the instructions provided in this agreement the contract shall be void.
*Multiple foals: should more than one embryo or foal result from a breeding, Mare Owner shall pay an
additional breeding fee for each additional embryo or resulting foal. No breeding certificate for any foal
shall be issued without such additional payment.
*Substitution: It is agreed that should the above named stallion die or become unfit for service, the Mare
Owner my breed to another stallion on the farm upon mutual agreement of Mare Owner and Stallion
Owner, or substitute frozen semen upon availability. It is further agreed if the above named mare dies or
becomes unfit during breeding season the Mare Owner may substitute another Mare agreed upon by both
parties.
*Should the above named mare fail to settle after the 4 th shipment, the Mare Owner has the option of
bringing the above named mare or a substitute mare, agreed upon by both parties, to the ranch to be bred.
Should a Mare fail to conceive or not produce a viable foal and rebreeding becomes necessary the
following year, a $250 chute fee will be charged. No live foal guarantee on third year rebreeds.
*Due to increased national security measures, Pearson Show Horses cannot be held liable for semen once
shipment leaves the property of Pearson Show Horses Breeding Farm.
*Should the mare not settle from the first shipment inseminations, additional semen will be provided by
Pearson Show Horses. The Breeding Fee will not become due again. However, the shipping fee will be
charged for each shipment.
*A Breeders Certificate will be issued to Mare Owners after all fees and charges have been paid in full,
upon notification of the birth of foal.
*Agreement: This Agreement may neither be assigned nor transferred in any other manner, absent the
expressed written permission of Stallion Owner.
*This contract is not valid unless completed in full when Mare Owner signs and returns contract and
booking fee to Breeder. It will become a binding contract on both parties, subject to above terms and
conditions. This contract is not transferable or assignable as referred to in #$12.
