Viewing the Mark Sense Report
Overview
This document covers the report format and contents of the printed Mark Sense
report. To view the Mark Sense report, you can either print a paper copy of the
report contents or view an on-screen version of the report.
NOTE: The Mark Sense report can be viewed on-screen using the
Report Viewer on the RemitTrac Application Tools ribbon bar.
Understanding the Mark Sense Report
The layout of the Mark Sense report includes a Page Header, Report Header,
Column Header, and contents of the Mark Sense report, as shown in Figure 1.

Page Header
The Page Header consists of three lines located at the upper right corner of every
page. The header includes the page number, and the date and time when the report
was generated.

Report Header
The Report Header contains the name of the bank from which the report was
generated, the name of the report, and the date on which the report contents were
generated.
Columns of the Printed Report
The Column Header lists the type of data collected in the report about the Mark
Sense information. Table 1 lists the types of data contained in each column of the
Mark Sense report.

Lockbox ID and name assigned to the lockbox for
which the report was generated
Form
Displays the Retail Form(s) that was chosen at
Registration for processing the Mark Sense fields
Fields Evaluated
Displays the number of fields that were evaluated
for any marked fill
Fields Filled
Displays the number of fields that contained
marked fill
Fields Substituted
Displays the number of fields that were evaluated
and a mark sense amount was entered with no
operator input
Fields to Field Entry
Displays the number of fields whose amount was
input by the operator
Fields as Change of
Address
Displays the number of fields that contained
Change of Address information

Totals and Grand Totals Sections
A Total of Mark Sense fields is included after each lockbox and a Grand Total of
all Mark Sense fields from all lockboxes is included at the end of the report.
Figure 2 illustrates the Totals and Grand Totals sections of the Mark Sense report.
