WHAT IS EcoPure?
EcoPure is a proprietary organic compound. In regular person speak, EcoPure is a pellet mixture made from
millions and millions of tiny microbes that are added to our plastic, EVA, and rubber mixtures while they are in a
liquid form. We mix a percentage of 3% EcoPure to the total weight of the plastic, rubber, or EVA.
WHAT DOES EcoPure DO?
EcoPure microbes embed themselves within the molecular structures of our EVA and rubber; eventually, and only
under the right circumstances, the EcoPure eats away at the compounds that hold the material together so the
outsole will eventually turn into humus ‐ which is basically just a fancy word for dirt.
An easy comparison ‐ think about termites and wood. Eventually termites completely degrade the integrity of wood
by chomping and excreting wood molecules. . . this is like what EcoPure does to plastic, rubber, and EVA.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE THE REST OF THE SHOE TO BIODEGRADE?
It depends. . . like aging in real life, the amount of time it will take for the rest of the shoe to biodegrade depends on
