Done By : Samah Al-Sada The students will classify a set of different objects from their environment according to their physical properties (wood, metal, paper, rubber, plastic, glass and fabric) with 100% accuracy. 9.1 Classify simple materials in various ways on the basis of their physical properties. - A set of toys and familiar objects from the real life. - 7 cards carrying the types of the materials (wood, metal, paper, rubber, plastic, glass and fabric). 1- I picked one group of students (6 students), 2- I put many different materials in the middle of their tables. 3- Then I let each of them pick one type of the following materials (wood, metal, paper, rubber, plastic, glass and fabric). 4- Then I give them a clear directions to what they will do exactly (see worksheet for directions), 5- Then I gave each student a card with written word for his choice of material in order to put it on her table. 6-Then each student began to pick her own objects according to the materials. 7- Finally each of them must give me a number of objects that she had found and belonging to their material. After they finished their work, I checked their work in order to assess their understanding by giving them an assessment worksheet. Finally I praised them and took pictures for them.
