PUBLIC NOTICE
It is hereby informed to the General Public that M/s Air Asia (lndia) pvt. Ltd.
has applied for grant of Air Operators Permit (Scheduled) for the purpose of
providing Scheduled Air Transport Services in India. The documents submitted by
the applicant are being processed in this office.
In order to comply with the requirements of Schedule Xl of Aircraft Rules
1937, a notice is hereby given to the public and all the persons likely to be affected
by the grant of this permit to M/s Air Asia (lndia) Pvt. Ltd. for the purpose of
providing scheduled air transport services irr lndia, submit their objections
or
suggestions, if any, within twenty days of issue of this public notice, setting out the
specific grounds on which representation is made alongwith a certificate to the
effect that a copy of the representation has been provided to M/s Air Asia (lndia)
Pvt. Ltd. For details of Letter of Intent submitted by M/s Air Asia (lndia) pvt. Ltd.,
please refer to DGCA web-site

Chief Executive Officer (Accountable Manager)
The Chief Executive Officer, CEO acts on the directives and agreed policies of AirAsia India's Board
of Directors. CEO accepts that the Company Procedures do not override the necessity of complying
with the applicable Regulations of the DGCA notices or other formal requirements of the DGCA for
the time being in force or any new or amended requirements.
Executive Management Team
CEO will manage the airlines operations, its associated administrative and supporting activities
including maintenance along with his core team of Heads of Flight Operations, Engineering and
Maintenance, Ground Operations, Commercial Marketing, Finance and Corporate Communications.
Corporate Compliance
Ensure that the company's aircraft operation is safe and legally compliant and is in conformance to
the regulatory frameworkgoverned bythe Air Operator Certificate/Permit issued by DGCA.
Develop and embed a safety culture in all our aviation activities that recognizes the importance and
value of effective aviation safety management and acknowledges at all times that safety is
paramount.
Clearly define for all staff their accountabilities and responsibilities for the development and
delivery of aviation safety strategy and performance.
Ensure that all staff are provided with adequate and appropriate aviation safety information and
training, are competent in safety matters and are only allocated tasks commensurate with their
skills
Establish and implement a hazard identification and risk management process to minimize the
risks associated with aircraft operations to a point that is as low as reasonably
practicable/achievable, and conduct safety reviews to ensure that relevant action is taken
Ensure that sufficient skilled and trained resources are always available to implement safety
strategy, policy and processes.
Establish and measure our safety performance against realistic objectives and/or tai'gets.
Ensure that the externally supplied systems and services that impacts upon the safety of our
operations meet appropriate safety standards.
Actively develop and improve our safety processes to conform to world class stahdards and comply
with and, wherever possible, exceed legislative and regulatory requirements and standards.
To foster and encourage the maximum level of reporting and transparency with non-punitive
safety/hazard reporting and havinga just culture in the airline
Continuously assess 'Quality', ensuring adequacies in operating standards, procedures and facilities
are at all times consistent with current industry practice.

Ensure effective communications and co-ordination with relevant Government agencies in the
continuous assessment of airports and associated facilities meet the targeted standards and
procedures of flying operations.
Ensure the implementation of effective Ground / Flight Safety programs which are periodically
evaluated in terms of its affectivity and adequacy.
Ensure that up-to-date knowledge of rules, regulations, policies and procedures governing aircraft
operations are known to key airline personnel satisff all laid out regulatory requirements.
Ensure that the airlines infrastructure involving the number of personnel, suitable facilities along
with supporting hardware and software are appropriate in meeting the requirements of the Air
Operator Permit/Certifi cate.
Ensure that the necessary resources such as finance, facilities, tools and equipment, manpower and
the managing of airworthiness data issued by the Aviation Authorities are available and
requirements met.
Quality Policy Commitment
