IEEE Hyderabad Section is one of the most active sections in Indian as well as in Asia Pacific Region Started as a subsection in 1981, it was elevated to a Section in 1984. For the past 30 years Hyderabad section has been conducting various National & International Programs fulfilling the needs of engineers and scientists. As on today our section as about 11 society chapters and Affinity Groups of IEEE : Computer Society, PES/IAS/PEL Society Joint Chapter, MTT/AP/EMC Society Joint Chapter, COM/SP Society Chapter and Women in Engineering Affinity Group. MTT/AP/EMC Society Joint Chapter was formed in 2008. The Society enables the practicing engineers to focus on technical developments in specific areas on interest to the Joint Society.
