Caring for the Elderly and Disabled
Social housing institutions can always rest assured that not only are RW fires some of the most energy efficient on the market, they provide
a powerful source of heat in the event of a power cut. Electronic ignition provides instant ignition from a top-positioned control, and a
range of disabled adaptors to facilitate operation and ignition, as well as numbered heat controls for the poor-sighted, are also available on
selected fires. A flip-top lid can also conceal the heat control and offers the facility to house operating instructions and bespoke security and
emergency details for social housing.

as such, is committed to developing energy efficient products that have a minimum impact on the environment. All RW electric suites and
fire surrounds are FSC® certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council® – a non-governmental organisation that is dedicated to promoting

Certification

Dedicated Assembly Line
Such is the dedication to social housing that a new and bespoke assembly line has been established exclusively for the production of
electric suites for social housing. Based in Burnley, the new assembly line covers the whole of the UK and not only considerably extends
production capacity, it offers faster turnaround, improved flexibility and customer service.
Alongside our electric suites, we also offer a ‘mix and match’ option of electric fires, hearths and surrounds, and the new assembly line
can produce a comprehensive range of electric suites in a variety of sizes, including petite and 21” versions to suit specific installation
requirements.
One Box Solution
Many of RW’s suites are a dream to install as the majority come supplied as a complete unit and are ready assembled for installation in
one box. The packaging may simply be removed, fixed back to the wall, plugged in and switched on to enjoy the comforting warmth of
an RW fire. All fires feature a quick fit kettle connection with 2 or 3m of cable for ease of installation.
