truck driving, asphalt spreading, jackhammering, patching, crack sealing, and a variety of construction and maintenance activities when equipment is not in use. Perform minor repairs to equipment
and report the needs for major repairs. Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors,
apply street paint and traffic markings. Assist in the installation and repair of traffic signs, signals
and equipment, effectively use a PC, software and field equipment used by the department in the
performance of duties and assignments. Perform job duties in a safe manner consistent with City
policies and procedures, perform job duties under stressful conditions including inclement weather
or adverse conditions, when directed. Perform work for all divisions within street and traffic as well
as any other department within the City. Install traffic control at work sites as necessary. Clean and
care for tools and equipment. $8.18 - $9.48. Hours vary.
