Dr. Peter Ting is the Regional Vice President of Strategic Innovation And Market
Creations for UCSI Blue Ocean Strategy Regional Centre (UCSI BOSRC) with 10
countries of UCSI BOSRC Consulting Network. He is responsible to formulate the
strategic blueprint and develop talents to pioneer the growth and expansion of
Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS) Consulting in the Asia-Pacific Region.
Speaker: Dr. Peter Ting
Dr. Peter graduated in Computer Science & Statistics (Australia) and MBA (UK).
He completed his PhD in Holistic Health Science (USA) with the highest honors,
on Holistic Healing in Finance with a special focus on Asia, using the Blue Ocean
Strategy as the method and framework of his dissertation. He is a Certified
Holistic Trainer, and former Director of Training and Education with Napoleon Hill
Associates.
Apart from Malaysia, Dr. Peter has worked as a Professional Trainer & Holistic
Leadership Life Coach in Australia, USA, Canada, India, Indonesia, Singapore,
Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China since 1989. He has also worked as Lecturer,
Course Director, Academic Head, Vice-Principal, Project Manager, International
Franchise Manager, and Group CEO while in Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore.
Together with his regional consulting team, they have consulted or are currently working in industry sectors such as
banking, finance, insurance, education, health-care, property development, construction, hotel, tourism, F&B,
government, IT, HR, etc.
Prior to joining UCSI Blue Ocean Strategy Regional Centre (China) in September 2008 as his co-founder and
Managing Partner, Dr Peter worked as the COO of a Property Sales Management Company, providing leadership
and mentoring to his robust team to design and execute an online system to manage more than 1,000 housing units.
