LIBRARY RULES









1. Welcome to the all users in the SOUL of Vidyalaya.
2. All Staff members and all the students are members of
library.
3. All books taken out of the library must be issued by the
librarian.
4. If you lose or damage a book please be honest and inform
the librarian : bring in the cost of replacement promptly.
5. No books may be borrowed on behalf of a friend or other
person.
6. Please ask at the desk to use the Computer.
7. The library will remain open during the school hours on all
working days.
8. No bags are allowed in the library.
9. Please take good care of the books and resources or
things

10. Issue of books :
A. For Students:
i. A book will be issued for 7 days.
ii. A fine of Re 1/- per book per day, after due date will
be changed.
B. For the Teachers
i. At a time 5 other than text books will be issued for
one fortnight.
ii. one set Text books will be issued for a session.
iii. A fine of Re 1/- per book per day, after due date
will be changed.

ISSUE SYSTEM
During the year 2015-16 books are issued to
students through register based issue system class
wise. Books are issued for classes VI onwards. Open
access to shelf is provided to students for selection of
books, for borrowing a book for home reading.
However reference books are not issued for home
reading.
CLASS LIBRARY

Class Libraries are established for classes I to
V (Primary). A set of books as per the strength
of class is selecte by me and distribute to
students of the class-library period; they in turn
circulate the books to the students for reading
in the library period.
READER’S CLUB

Formation of Readers club: The formation of
reders club with students so that they have
access to books and handle to issuing/reading,
maintenance of books and reder’s choice.
