Name ________________________ ________________________ ________________________ Period 2 3 7 . Song, Song, Square, Looking Like a Rhombus ! We all like to sing. Some of us sing better than others. Some sing in the car, with head phones on, or even in the shower. But, we need to sing in Geometry class more. We have the Quadratic Equation Song, but now we need the Quadrilateral Song. So, I propose to you the following challenge. Like Simon and Garfunkle, Lennon and McCarthy, Rogers and Hamerstine, you may work in a group of two or three, no more. ! Write your own song about Quadrilaterals. It needs to either be about all of the quadrilaterals and how they are related, or, about one special quadrilateral and all of its properties. You will “record” the song for presentation to the class. You will see that there is room for extra points to be earned during this project. ! Your song must have music to it. You can use a current or popular song, but there can be no singing from the original artist in the music you use. You must provide me with the lyrics to your song. The length of the song must be more than 25 seconds, but less than 3 minutes. So, here is your rubric for you to enjoy. Category 4 3 2 1 Lyrics Accurate properties or relationships among the Quadrilaterals Minor errors in the properties or relationships among the Quadrilaterals Errors or omissions in the properties or relationships among the Quadrilaterals Major Errors or omissions in the properties or relationships among the Quadrilaterals Sound Quality No background noise.
