The Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree program in psychology at Metropolitan State University of

Denver (MSU Denver) prepares students for successful careers and lifelong learning in the growing field of psychology.

Psychology is the science of thoughts, feelings and behavior. As a student working toward a BA in psychology at MSU Denver, you will study the basic principles governing psychological processes, current and emerging issues in psychology and how historical developments contributed to our contemporary understanding; ethical guidelines and the fundamentals of research methodology and statistical analysis; individual/cultural differences and universal commonalties in human experience; and how psychology can be applied to help improve our world.

Graduates of psychology programs pursue such varied careers as health-service providers, personnel managers/trainers, labor-relations specialists, marketing professionals, teachers, researchers and criminal justice workers.
