demand of physicians for fast and easy access to medical information and services. Full text
access to selected medical texts, medical journals, practice guidelines, drug information,
patient handouts, and CME materials.
 PubMed@UCLA - The National Library of Medicine’s search service provides access to
over 19 million citations in the health sciences. Includes citations to articles in complementary
medicine, dentistry, drug information, medicine, nursing, public health and the history of

 DynaMed - DynaMed is a 'point-of-care' clinical reference tool with clinically-organized
summaries for nearly 3,000 topics. DynaMed is updated daily and monitors the content of
over 500 medical journals and systematic evidence review databases. Each publication is
thoroughly reviewed, and each article is evaluated for clinical relevance and scientific
validity. The new evidence is then integrated with existing content, and overall conclusions
are changed as appropriate representing a synthesis of the best available evidence. A PDA
component is available for Palm OS, iPhone, Android Smartphone and Microsoft Mobile.
 MedlinePlus - The National Library of Medicine developed MedlinePlus for use by both the
patient and the health care professional. It provides access to extensive information about
specific diseases and conditions and both generic and brand-name drugs. The site includes
links to consumer health information from the National Institutes of Health, a variety of
medical dictionaries, a medical encyclopedia, several directories of hospitals and physicians,
health information in Spanish and other languages, and information about clinical trials.
