QQ.
AA.
not listed in the online schedule. How
do I register for it?
QQ. When can I register?
AA. Registration for Workforce Continuing Education
classes is ongoing throughout the year. If a
class appears in the online schedule, that means
space is still available and the class is open for
registration. Registrations are processed on a
first-come, first-served basis.
If you don’t see a specific class section in the
online schedule, that is because the class is
not accepting registrations at this time. The
class may be full, or may not be offered at
this time. Contact us for more information
about the class, and when it may be offered
again in the future.
I didn’t receive a confirmation email
when I registered for a class. How do I
update my contact information?
It is the student’s responsibility to update
any changes to contact information (email,
home address). Student information is not
automatically updated when a new course
registration is received. To make changes to
your student record, you must complete a
Student Permanent Records Change Form,
which can be downloaded from our website.
The forms should be signed and then sent to
the WCE Registrar’s Office.
QQ. I have an idea for a new class!
AA. We can create courses to meet the
expressed needs of the community. Do you
have a group of people interested in learning
a topic, but you don’t see the class offered
at this time? Contact us, and we’ll try to
help! ceregistrar@waketech.edu

Due to the minimum number of students
necessary for classes to be held, we encourage
you to sign up at least one week before the class
starts. Enrollments after the start date of the
class are not eligible for a full refund.
QQ. I am paying for someone else to take a
AA.
class. What do I need to do?
If you are paying for someone else, such as an
employer paying on behalf of an employee, you
will want to use Sponsorship Billing. Sponsorship
Billing ensures that refunds, if necessary, are
issued to the payer rather than to the student.
(Please note that you will not be able to register
online through Sponsorship Billing.)
If you are interested in setting up a sponsorship,
please contact the WCE Registrar’s Office at
919-334-1631. If not, you may continue with online
registration and any refund will be issued directly
to the student.

Do I need a parking decal to park on campus?
Students taking any course that lasts longer
than one week at Main, Perry Health Sciences,
Public Safety, Western Wake, or Northern Wake
campuses must pay a $5 campus access fee each
semester for access to all campuses. Parking
decals, deck entry cards, and parking passes
(where applicable) are available on each campus
from the cashier or front desk.
