Directions: Three days a week, beginning on April 1st, students will be using a home computer, or tablet to practice and get ready for SOL online tests. A parent or guardian must initial after the student has completed the online assignment each day. Two participation grades will be given in the following subjects (Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies) for the 4th quarter grading period for completion and parent initials of the online SOL practice. Students should take their time during the practice tests and not rush through. Good practice skills will have an effect when it comes time for the real SOL test. When completing math problems on the computer, pencil and scrap paper are necessary for students to solve the problems and not guess at the answers. Students are given blank scrap paper during testing to help them complete the problems. Please make sure students turn in their scrap paper so their teachers can see their work!
