DOLCH WORD STUDENT RECORD SHEET

Administration:
Teacher flashes Dolch words to the student (allowing the student three seconds to respond) and records
his/her responses on this sheet. The teacher places a check over the correct letter responses and underlines the
incorrect letter responses. (Once the child has earned two checks for each word, the word is considered
mastered and the teacher does not need to test that word again. If the child has not earned two checks, the
teacher will again test that word during the next testing session.) The teacher then records the appropriate
information under each list. The teacher may use a different color ink for each testing session. Scores are
cumulative, not isolated to a section.
